By installing tasque, creating a tasque cloud account, or using tasque.dev (including the web app at tasque.dev/app), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use tasque for a business, you confirm you may accept these terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use tasque.
2. What tasque is
tasque is a program for Mac that keeps one local inbox of what your coding agents are waiting on. By itself it works entirely on your Mac.
tasque cloud is the optional service for signing in, syncing and pairing your devices, including the hosted web app at tasque.dev/app.
Optional parts such as the Groq advisor (with your own key) and the Feedback button send data only when you use them, as the Privacy Policy describes.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use tasque and to use tasque cloud for your own work, on devices you control. We keep all rights in tasque, which is proprietary software. You may not reverse engineer it, resell it, or use it to build a competing service, except where the law lets you. Third-party software included with tasque stays under its own licences (see THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in the download).
4. Your account
One person per account. Give us a true email address and keep your devices and recovery information safe. Because your synced content is encrypted with a key we do not have, we cannot recover it if you lose all your devices and your recovery information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for any tokens you give tasque. Handles may not impersonate others; we may refuse or reclaim a handle that does.
5. Plans and payment
The Mac program is free to use under section 3.
tasque cloud is a paid plan with a free trial. We allow one trial per verified email address.
Payment. When billing starts, the price, the billing period and the payment processor are shown to you before you pay. Prices exclude taxes unless shown otherwise. Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. We will tell you before a price change affects you.
Limits. Spending caps, rate limits and device limits apply to protect the service.
6. Your content
You own your content. You give us the limited right to store, transmit and process it (for synced content, mostly as ciphertext we cannot read) only to run the parts of tasque you use. Do not use tasque for unlawful content, malware, harassment, or attacks on systems or people.
7. Agents, connectors and other services
tasque lets AI coding agents and other programs put questions in your inbox, and your answers go back to them. You decide what they may do, and you are responsible for actions you approve or enable. AI output can be wrong; check it before you rely on it. Third-party services you connect (such as Groq or Google) are governed by their own terms.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep tasque cloud reliable but do not guarantee it will always be available. We may change or end features of tasque cloud, and will give notice where practical. tasque on your Mac keeps working without the cloud.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using tasque at any time, export your data, and delete your account (Settings, Account, or tasque account delete). We may suspend or end an account for breach of these terms, abuse, non-payment, or legal reasons, with notice where practical. Deleting your account removes your data from tasque's servers as the Privacy Policy describes, but not messages or contact details that other people already received.
10. Disclaimers and limits
tasque is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output or agent actions will be correct, or that encrypted content can be recovered if you lose your devices and recovery information.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to tasque is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or any rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
11. Disputes
Please email support@tasque.dev first so we can try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which MDO Labs LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction, except that you keep any right to bring a claim in your home courts under mandatory consumer law.
12. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page with a new effective date. For material changes we will email account holders before they take effect. If you keep using tasque after a change takes effect, you accept it; if you do not accept it, stop using tasque and delete your account.
